Project Description:
Sydney Pressed Metal was engaged by Ivision Constructions to clean and remove lead paint, repair and patch the original pressed metal ceilings featuring throughout this renovation.
The original building in Federation style architecture was built in 1907 and served as a former boarding house. The house features an elaborate range of pressed metal designs throughout, with some of the more detailed ceilings featuring several designs on the one ceiling.
The renovation encompassed a modern addition to the heritage frontage. Sydney Pressed Metal was able to clean the existing original pressed metal ceilings, treat with rust inhibitor and patch and repair damaged areas.
